It houses some of the major series of events of the war along with the sandstone wall engraved with the names of all Indian soldiers who sacrificed their live during the war. There is a memento shop that sells hats, T-shirts, coffee mugs designed in memory of the war. The memorial is placed by the side of national highway from Srinagar to Leh.
